Couples getting married on May 30, 2020

Hey fellow May 2020 bride! I'm getting married on May 3rd, it feels so far away. The only vendors we have left are officiant (meeting with him next weekend) and a bakery for the cake (done one tasting so far, not a fan). Other than that, we just need the wedding party attire, accessories, and general décor for the big day! Congratulations and good luck in the rest of your planning

Hey date twin!! I'm also getting married May 30, 2020. I have all of the major vendors booked, venue/caterer, photographer, DJ, hair and makeup artist. We've done engagement photos, and designed and printed our STDs (they will go out next month), and designed and saved our invitations (will have them printed early next year), I have my dress and accessories. I still need an officiant, and some kind of baker. We're not doing a traditional cake, but rather a dessert bar. We have planned our honeymoon (on paper), but haven't actually booked it yet. Same with bridal party attire, we have planned it out, and everyone knows what they are getting, they are just waiting a bit before ordering, since there is still plenty of time. I told everyone that as long as they had their attire ordered by the end of January, we'll be fine. So, lots of things in the works, but nothing big happening at the moment. I have an idea for my centerpieces, but am waiting for bigger sales to buy all the components.

I hope all you May 2020 gals are on track with your planning. It seems like there's still a lot to do, but I don't feel rushed, and I don't feel like I can't get it all done. We still have 263 days or something, so I feel good!

Heyyy date twin👋🏽 I have pretty much everything in order if not done already. Venue, dj, photographer, florist, make up. Only one missing is hair i’m still researching! I have my dress, shoes, all my maids have their dress also. I have a ton of little stuff also that I have tucked away. It’s coming sooo fast!

Also we just took engagement photos! My venue does my food and cake so that’s all in one!

I have my venue, DJ, officiant, makeup artist, linen napkins (the venue doesn’t have the color I needed), centerpieces vases, save the dates, I ordered my dress, bridesmaids already have their dresses, florist .. I haven’t picked hair stylists yet. 🤔 we still have some time. I have some invitation designs in mind and favors. Haven’t picked cake flavor or topper either.

Got the major items out of the way (mostly): church and officiant, reception venue & drinks are covered there, photographer... We also know who we’ll will have do our cake and food (we think) but haven’t booked them yet. We also have our florist picked out and my hairdresser is going to style everybody’s hair that wants it done.

Decor-wise we’ve gotten almost all of it, just need to find a couple more things.

Hey Date Twin!! So I JUST got engaged last weekend (September 6th), but so far I have my church and officiant, venue, dj, and catering booked. I also have my engagement photos scheduled. I'm having a hard time finding a photographer in my area AND within my budget but I'm hoping to have that booked next week....then I'll take a small break! I've worn my poor FH out but he has been such a trooper!!!!

Hello fellow 5/30/2020 brides! Wow, you all have so much more done than we do! So far we have a venue and a photographer! That's it! I'm starting to worry that we are very behind. We got engaged on 9/22 so it's almost 1 month in. I just started trying on dresses on Thursday, & I'm interviewing florists and about to start doing the same for catering. Next up after that are rentals, video, DJ, & cake. We are over the moon for our venue & it comes with a lot of bonuses, & our photographer is a friend that just happens to be an amazing photographer! Feeling so happy with who we have gotten, and overwhelmed thinking about everything else!

There are so many date twins and i'm glad to be one of them!! I haven't even done my engagement photos but we have a guest list, venue , catering and a videographer, photographer and that's about it but i'm drowning and so clueless. If anyone has advice or help that would be amazing.

No, our caterer doesn't really do dessert as part of their packages. So, we went to a few wedding expos in search of a dessert person. We found a couple we liked from tasting their samples. Now we just have to meet with them to talk about what we want, and if they can give us that within our budget.

I think it's going to work out really great!! I want to provide a variety of things, to please as many as I can!! Brownie bites, cake pops, fruit tarts, smore's tarts, chocolate mousse, YUM!

Ahh this stressed me out! I get married same date, but I’m still missing Florist, cake, decorator, bridesmaid dresses, my shoes, make up, and hair, still haven’t decided on honeymoon yet.

I'm aiming for 8 weeks out to send invites! That takes it to April 4th, so I'll probably order them in March! I'm going with Minted, so they have a pretty quick turn around time once you order!

Anyone starting to stress out as the big day gets closer? I had a long engagement, so I took things slow at first, but now I'm starting to really feel the stress as things get closer! I just picked out bridesmaids dresses, so next up on my checklist is suits/tuxes for the guys!
