We postponed to August 29. We're still going to get married on June 20 but moving our wedding celebration to 8/29 just to be safe and keep our family and friends safe. I'm feeling a bit overly cautious and maybe we jumped the gun and changed the date prematurely but our wedding planner said to do it to be safe so following her advice we did it. Good luck all!

We have not yet. We are waiting another 3 weeks or so. Our venues are all on board with whatever we do and will reschedule for us if we need to. Our travel agent (we are having a destination wedding) says to stay the course for a couple of weeks and see how things go.

Hello wedding twin; I hope all is well with your planning. Yes that was very cool how you two came up with your date. We arrived at 6.20.20 because we had to reschedule from May 9th. Our vendor closed until May 21st and asked that we provided them a little more time after they reopen to get back to normal. Good luck with the final plans over the next month and congratulations.

What is everyone doing for your 6/20 wedding? It hit me hard yesterday that we will likely need to postpone, but it is such a difficult decision to make! Curious about other decisions to move forward with this date or postpone

I'm June 20th (we already postponed from April 18th). For now, we aren't doing anything. We will wait until the beginning of May and see where things are from there. Honestly, I'm trying not to think about it.

I'm still waiting to make a decision. If we have to postpone, we are thinking of a Christmas themed wedding.

We decided to postpone until June 2021. Our state lockdown got extended to May 8th, people started cancelling anyway and we are not sure it's going to be safe to travel since we are having a destination wedding. I'm really crushed right now (I told myself I wouldn't be upset, but I am actually upset). My fiancé and I are talking about having our pastor do an "elopement" on June 20th anyway (if the courthouse opens eventually so we can get a license). I figure I'll get over the sadness and be excited again. Right now, after 18 months of planning it seems like it's never going to happen. :'-( I feel everyone that has to make the same decision. We will all be ok and never forget this!

I feel the same way! I feel like I was so strong until I wasn’t... we are still planning to get married on June 20 as well, my fiancé’s dad is getting ordained to marry us so we will do a small elopement ceremony with our families. We are considering postponing to September but feel like that is still risky too, such a hard decision to make!
