Couples getting married on July 13, 2020

Still getting married on 07/13/2020?

I have been having a really hard time figuring out what to do. We are still wanting to get married on our original date but we live in Washington State and still in phase one and it doesn't look like we will even be able to have 50 people (including staff, photographer, officiant).

Only about half of our original guests have RSVP'd. I am heavily considering doing a elopement/micro-wedding (and send out a video to the rest of the guests) with just immediate family, 2 photographers and officiant but that is still more than 10 people. We really want to have grandparents there since we both have older grandparents and one has cancer.

We would do our original plan at our venue with possible vow renewal next year for our first anniversary.

Thanks for letting me vent, any and all suggestions are welcome.

I hope you and yours are safe and healthy!

Hi Katarzyna! What are the current restrictions in place in Washington? Are they limited to 10 people, or would your ideal micro-wedding scenario work?

Here are a few recent discussions you can check out where other July & summer brides have been sharing their plans and updates:

We are still moving ahead with our wedding. We reside in NC but had our venue NOAH’S close abruptly and chose a venue about 15 mins from us across the SC border. I see the closing of first venue as a blessing in disguise. NC is still not allowing more than 10 people for an indoor reception. We are able to have our outdoor ceremony and indoor reception with a guest count of 100. Only 6 days to go! I swear this planning has been so stressful. We waited until the very last minute(Jun 26) to decide whether we would postpone or not.
