A dress for the bridesmaids or you? How about asking the bridesmaids to find dresses in a sort of style. I feel if they're mixed matched they'd look more country chic.

You can really pair any dress with boots. I would maybe stay away from satin or any other really shining fabric. I think it depends on how "You" want the look to be. A cut chiffon dress and boots looks cute, but a nice cotton summer dress and boots does as well. How "dressed up" do you want your girls to be?

Have you thought of a dress with a floral pattern? A dress may seem simple by you can always dress it up.

I don't consdier cowboy boots formal. Very pretty, but seems casual to me.

I also love Audra's idea. Maybe just give them a color and see what they come up with?

Its kind of just a semi formal look im going for. but yes country chic/rustic is the vibe. i know what i want the guys to where and pretty sure i have theirs all put together for the most part.

as for the girls, i am thinking a brownish/tannish/creme color for the dresses. i want it to be kind of summery but with a touch of formal.

My wedding is western themed. My fiance and the boys are wearing camo vests with white button down long sleeve shirts, jeans, and cowboy boots. I want all my bridesmaids to wear knee length dresses so they can see their boots but I can't find ANY that I like that match. I don't want formal or prom type dress. I am looking for dark puprle(lapis) sundresses but can't find any!

I am running into the same problem danielle. i have a similar idea for the guys but they are wearing brown vests, and my fiance will be wearing a suit that is cowboyd up. and the girls i dont want complete summer dresses but i dont want complete formal either, im trying to find strapless non shiny dresses, and my sister molllie is going to be my mini bride, my nephew aiden the mini groom, my two nieces jaydah and breliegh flower girls and my nephew caiden the ring bearer, but i am thinking about have my brother jarrod be the mini groom and have my nephew aiden drive caiden down the isle in their mini kids gator. the wedding im fairly certain is going to be at a friends place in the country

I also ran into the same problem trying to find semi formal dress that went well with boots. I actually ordered them off line and i love them. They are both navy blue. The first one is my maid of honor and the second one is my 2 bridesmaid dress. They are wearing dark brown boots them.

@Danielle H. Davides bridal did have some chiffon dress in lapis

That's what I am doing too, the boots and all, my dress is all lace, I found it to be country western looking and yet it is a wedding dress, I have an ivory/taupe dress, I will post you a pic.

Here is a country wedding I took photos of. They wanted all of their photos in sepia but it might give you some dress ideas. http://www.skysailphotos.com/?page_id=2181

This would be cute with your boots, it reminds me of the western dresses worn back in the gun slingin days, I would have the front dropped a little if it were me, but it's cute to show the boots if you were wanting to do that and have the wedding dress feel at the sme time. I would do it in an off white though like was mentioned earlier.
