Could you still do your wedding plans if everyone was barefoot?

Since wherever we were, I would have been in flats, so I would not have to hold up my skirt as I walked. So I could sprint to the buffet and have everything first for a change. At home mom and the cook , both usually me, settle to eat last.

I'm getting married in a downtown area so it could be uncomfortable depending on the pavement

Depends on where you are getting married and what the floor/ground surface is like. We planned our reception in a wedding barn with indoor/outdoor areas with poured concrete, so being barefoot would not be much of an issue. But if you were getting married in an old barn with rustic/uneven splintering wood floor, or on gravel, or any number of other surfaces, being barefoot would probably be challenging.

Absolutely. That also factors in the alternate universe that every ground surface is barefoot friendly. Heels are nice but they aren't mandatory. Unless you walk in them daily as part of your work attire, it takes alot of getting used to to maneuver in them. Dancing is near impossible.
