Costco / Sam's Club Wedding Flowers

Kim, on August 15, 2016 at 1:04 AM Posted in Style and Décor 0 12

I'm digging into my search for a florist and learned that Costco & Sam's Club offers wedding flower packages. Have any of you gotten your flowers from here? How did they turn out?

My best friend ordered her flowers from CostCo, she had two different types - white hydrangeas and a purple flower I don't remember. They were delivered on Thursday morning, we opened them all up and put them in huge 5 gallon buckets in her second bedroom. Friday we made her centerpieces in pre-spray painted vases. we didn't really know what we were doing but they came out nice and we had more than enough flowers to put on all the tables. We did buy some greenery from a local grocery store to fill them in a bit and her bouquet came from the farmers market Saturday morning before the wedding. The flowers all looked beautiful and she said she saved a ton of money but it was a lot of work and there were 4 of us doing it.

If you go this route, make sure you have several pairs of scissors that will cut through flower stems, lots of extra flower food, funnels if you are trying to get water into vases with small openings, extra 5 gallon buckets for the flowers to sit in water and have time to open. We also had floral tape arranged in a grid on some larger vases to help the flowers stay in place.

I ordered my bouquets and boutenierres from Costco. They were fantastic! I made sure I had enough vases to put them in when they arrived as well as space in our garage fridge.

We ordered bjs flowers for my moms 60th and got a ton of compliments. So much so that my friend ordered them for her wedding and they looked great! It is just a lot of work the day before. Do you really have time for that?

Both have great quality flowers. I've ordered them for a number of events. You do have to be home when they are delivered and need to get them in water. I believe both also have wedding packages of bouquets and bouts. Check those out. I've heard they are well priced.

I'm planning to use Costco flowers...have not yet ordered, but I've been unable to find a single negative review.

I ordered flowers from fiftyflowers.com for two different occasions. One was lilies for Easter, and they looked amazing, and the others were for one of my dearest friend's weddings. She ordered red carnations, sunflowers, and some other plant. They came out really pretty too.

I used them both! I'll post a link to a thread I posted after the wedding:
