My wedding is 5/2/2020. My county just shut down for two weeks. I’m in a state of panic, this is not something you think you need to prepare for when wedding planning. It sure if I’m over or under freaking out here. Anyone else??

My fiancé and I had our original date scheduled for 5/8/2020 and rescheduled it for 10/30/2020. We have decided that we are getting married no matter what in October. We put so much money down and don’t want to lose it by canceling and the venue has most of the dates booked for next year. I am in PA and the state is slowly opening up, so we are having the ceremony g and reception at the original venue. It may be a smaller crowd but my venue is working to design social distancing set up for the ceremony and reception. We just want to get married and we won’t let this pandemic ruin that! Good luck to all the brides, these are tough decisions we have to make.
I’m so over 2020! This was supposed to be THE YEAR! Our wedding date is 10-15-20 and yea things are starting to open up here for me in Florida but I’m so worry something else comes up during the fall & our honeymoon well we can’t travel out the country😭 idk what to do. Just makes me wanna cry every time I think about changing our date.
I feel you all. My wedding was supposed to be a week from today (5/30/20) and I bawled my eyes out a few days ago. I was overcome with so much emotion. We changed our date to next year, months ago, with no hesitation (we have a lot of family coming from other countries), but it's still hard. After being with my fiance for 8 years, we were just so excited to finally have our day. Hoping next Summer will be in our favor. Wishing you all the best.

Awww Tandya. So sorry. I know the feeling. I cried for days back in March and many days since then. But we got married on Fri. So glad the stress for now is over. Shooting for our celebration May of 2021.

We rescheduled for 11/20/2020. I’m with you in that. I cannot wait to finally get married. We will do this no matter what. I’m also in PA.

I’m so with you. We rescheduled for 11.20.2020. I’m in PA. I hope things change. We’re still in the red zone. We need to get to the green to have the wedding I want. It’s so sad we’re all dealing with this.

Yeah we rescheduled for 11.20.2020 but all that’s fine had created my fear for the second wave. I’m hoping we can have the wedding we want then.

Congrats! We have to make the best of the circumstances we are dealt right now. What county are you in? I’m in southeastern PA which is taking the longest to open. I heard that we will hopefully be in Green by end of June. Here’s to hoping.
I cried, hard, today. Just when I thought I was finally ok with my postponement twelve months from now as opposed to actually getting married 2.5 months from now, I've been having a really bad week. I thought I was ok, until my relatives started receiving our change the dates, then I get the pity texts. Then I lost it.
My advice for what it's worth - do something small but special on 5/30. Just the two of you. Even if it's just a drive out to the middle of nowhere with some wine.
