Coronavirus Wedding May 23rd

Oh dear heavens!
I’m usually not an alarmist and haven’t been to worried about our wedding but today has brought me a little anxiety. Our wedding is May 23rd in Dallas, Texas but my family from Seattle and other parts of Washington are driving/flying up for the wedding. My family’s isn’t too large and they’re all healthy and well but I’ve started to get some emails from vendors about what if situations. I’m really trying to stay calm but I’m unsure what to do.

My fiancé and I have decided that no matter what we will get married but just not sure if we will be having a wedding depending on how this virus plays out.
Does anybody have any suggestions on when to call the wedding by? We would love to get a full refund on all our things if need be, but don’t want to call the wedding off too early either. Asking for a friend 😭

We are date twins! We are getting married in Hawaii so it will be small but everyone will be flying there, I have already contacted vendors to get their refund or move date policies just in case. We are going to wait until mid April to make a firm decision just in case it blows over by then.

Same date for me too! We’re planning on getting married May 23 but we’re holding onto our invitations for a few extra weeks so we can figure out what our plan is. We may have a small ceremony and move the reception to a later date but still unsure

We are getting married that day too! Sending invitations the last week of March; did push my RSVP date back from April 10th to April 17th. We will make the call to keep the wedding as planned or postponed the last week of April, when the majority of our final payments are due. If we have to, we will just postpone; we've spent a lot of money on a three-day wedding weekend and I personally would just rather hold it later than lose all of that money.

You know, it's funny: we secretly buried a bottle of bourbon upside down on the property while we were there last year to ward off rain, as the old superstition goes. Wonder what I was supposed to bury to ward off a pandemic... LOL.
