Coronavirus wedding cancellation

Hi ladies!
So my wedding was suppose to be this Saturday! Everything was all set and last night we had to finally decide to postpone our wedding.
How are the rest of you dealing with this. Any tips or suggestions. I really don’t feel like talking to people now and have a lost of appetite. My fiancé is the same right now. Any thoughts on when we should try to reschedule to?

Definitely take the time to grieve this - I feel so bad this sucks for soooo many!! I don't have any advice on when to resched.... in fact I'm already contemplating moving my Fall wedding to next year. They are saying a vaccine is a year away, so there's that. Good luck!!

I’ve seen a lot of couples here mention they still wanna do something special to commemorate the date of what their wedding would have been - that’s special

    Hi Alisandra,
I'm supposed to be getting married on Friday, we live in MA. Our governor announced Sunday night that no group gatherings could exceed 25 people, this was the moment I was dreading and left me and my fiance completely heartbroken and at a complete loss of what to do or even wrap our heads around. We took that evening to grieve and be together and figure out what we wanted. We both would still really like to get married on Fri, since we've been planning for this date for the past 14 months, and even more so, we just really are ready to be married. We contacted our venue and have officially rescheduled our wedding reception and thankfully all of our vendors have our new date available. At the present moment we are still planning to get married by our officiant on Friday with just our parents and MOH and Best Man, however with the way everything has been happening so fast I'm still preparing myself for this to not happen. I wish you the best of luck and hope you and your fiance are able to decide what works best for you based on your options. My heart breaks for all of us going through this and just pray that others are compassionate. It's easy for others to say to "just reschedule" when they have no idea what it feels like.

We have postponed our wedding until Sept 5th now. I've been having a hard time coping with everything going on. The bridal shower, bachelorette, wedding and honeymoon have all been postponed now. I feel like these things I've worked so hard on and have been so excited about are ruined. However, FH and I are trying to be positive and comfort each other. I'm not sure how to grieve with this right now though, looking for any possible ideas as well.
