Connecticut Fall 2020 Weddings

Hi! August 29th CT bride here! We are going forward with it so far. Once we see the phase 3 guidelines and how things are going we will reassess, which my venue and vendors are on board with. My venue believes we will be able to have our wedding without restrictions since it’ll be in the last phase which they have heard from their contacts that it’ll be 95% back to normal (as long as everything keeps going well). None of our guests are traveling from hot spots, most are all local. We are planning on about 90 guests. Hoping all goes well and we can have it! What have you heard??

Im in Ny right on the border of Ct. my dates 9/18/20! luckily for u CT is a little more lenient. im just hoping cuomo doesnt lock us down again lol. one person may be traveling from hot spot but we’ll see if its still a hot spot in 2 months lol

That’s great, I hope hoping phase 3 and phase 4 will be in effect soon. I heard phase 3 in CT will allow 50 people indoors and 100 people outdoors. My venue is getting all the information as soon as the public gets it, we haven’t postponed yet but my family members are from a hotspot and they aren’t sure they feel comfortable traveling. It’s a hard decision to make. Let me know how your wedding turns out!!

Yes! That is very true, I’m just nervous about waiting it out and if we have to postpone we would have a limited selection of all the 2021 dates.

I’m not sure who you’re Venus is but I’d ask if they can hold a back up date for you. My venue is holding one for my until the end of July - which has been helpful.
