So until recently I was that annoying person who waited until the very last minute to RSVP. My reasoning was that something else might come up and I might find out I can't actually go, and it's better to RSVP right at the deadline than to change my RSVP.

Now that I understand the torture of waiting for those RSVPs to come in I have changed my ways. I will now RSVP promptly and if I say I'm attending I will do what I have to do be there and honor my obligation no matter what else comes up.

What about you guys- has wedding planning changed any of your bad habits?

Not only has the planning reformed me so that when we received an invite to a wedding I RSVPd that very same day (via their website). I love how convenient technology has made it!

Also now that I am actually seeing the cost, I will never never ever again take it personally if someone doesn't invite me to their wedding! Nor will I say to someone I know is getting married "can't wait to get my invite" or any form of that!!
