Is anyone doing one or has done one? If so, what are you integrating?
We’re planning on having one prior to our minimony (when we officially get married). FH wants to keep it simple and save more of the Buddhist traditions, meditations, Gathas/readings, and personal vows for the minimony.
The only thing that we’re doing that’s personal and special for the commitment ceremony is reading a toast of gratitude to his parents. His mom has lost a considerable amount of hearing so we want to keep it simple and straightforward so she can easily follow along.
