Comfy wedding shoes

Alexia, on March 11, 2021 at 8:22 PM Posted in Wedding Attire 0 13
Hey y’all. I’m looking for suggestions on super comfy wedding shoes! I have bad arthritis in my legs and feet so I’m concerned about standing for vows and pictures in heels or poorly supported flats. I’m open for any suggestionsSmiley smile My dress is champagne and ivory if that helps.

Go to a local DSW and browse the shoes there to see what is most comfortable. Always try them on in person before purchasing. No one will see your shoes unless you have a short dress so color is irrelevant.

Probably be best to try on in person. Finding comfortable shoes online can be a hassle. Kate Whitcomb has beautiful wedding flats but I don't know if they are comfortable.

I bought a pair of white Nikes from JCPenny’s & some satin gray shoelaces from Amazon. I’m going for comfort- who’s going to look under my dress anyway?

I bought a pair of wedding slippers off Etsy and boy were they a life saver!!! They were ordained with a crystal embellishment as well so still had a fancy look but the feel of a cushy sock!! 🧦🥰

If you're not set on heels, Toms has really cute wedding shoes. And remember if your dress is long nobody will see your shoes anyway, you can wear anything you want.

I would check Off Broadway shoes or DSW for options!! I’ve also seen a lot of really cute pictures of brides and bridesmaids wearing Tom’s like mentioned above!

I bought a pair of toms and glued lace to make it more bridal! It was super cheap and no one will see my shoes anyway.

Sketchers go walk are my favorite comfy shoes. You can look them up online on amazon and Kohl's

Go for sneakers (platform for height if needed) and ribbons for lace! No one really sees the shoes anyways unless you're planning to take photos for details.

I've got arthritic knees and a couple of janky toes, and I wore wedge sandals that I found at Shoe Show (Rack Room? Shoe Carnival?). One of them. I definitely wanted to try them on first. The other thing was that I wore them around the house for a little while most days leading up to the wedding, so they were broken in and starting to conform to my feet a little.

I am in the process of looking for my ceremony shoes, but I am looking at David's Bridal since I have store credit there. For the reception though, I bought some Sperry Slip-On Shoes. They are heavenly. They even have ones that are sparkly! Smiley smile
