Comfy wedding shoes!

I would look for a dancing shoe. They come in various heights and are designed for comfort. I have a couple pairs that I wear for weddings and never have to take them off.

I agree with the above. Dancing shoes are your best option for comfortable heeled shoes.

I'm actually wearing dansko shoes for mine - they have some cute oxford-style wedges that work great with my plantar heels and look fantastic with my dress. I found them at an outlet store for a reasonable price and have been breaking them in at work to make sure after 8-ish hours in them during the wedding I won't be dying the next day. So far, so good.

Not a great recommendation, but I dealt with planter fasciitis for quite a few years. I went to PT for probably 3 years, and it helped but only temporarily. What REALLY helped me was a sports medicine doctor casting my feet & making inserts. What a difference! I still wear them! As for ingrown toenails, my father had the surgery to permanently cut them out and is happy with his success. I would just look for some really nice inserts for your shoes, and look into flats or small wedges.

I'm sorry that you're having to deal with plantar fasciitis and ingrown toenails! I have plantar fasciitis too in one of my feet and it's been terrible (even with cortisone shots!).

Have you looked at Aerosoles and Naturalizers for shoes that you could wear for the big day? You could also look at The Walking Company (they have a whole section of plantar fasciitis friendly formal shoes). Do you think something open-toed would be more comfortable so it's not rubbing against your toes?

I wore jessica simpson heels that were super comfy!

I have both horrendous ingrown toenails and plantar fasciitis and arthritis in one foot so I feel your pain! Literally..... anywho, look into crocs wedges!! I’m serious. They feel like pillows on your feet. For me avoiding closed toed shoes is a must for long hours or my toenails act up, so these wedges are perfect!
