Color scheme for wedding

I think before you decide on colors you really need to decide if you are going to change the date because the venue and all of your vendors will need to know. The bridal party will also need to know. Have the girls already purchased their dresses? I will say that I think dark green is very pretty. It was one of my brother-in-law's wedding colors and I loved how it looked.

In the meantime, I will say that the dresses the bridesmaids wore in my brother-in-law's wedding were from David's Bridal and they were in the Juniper color which I thought looked very pretty. The groomsmen/bridesmen wore grey suits, white shirts, and green ties and vests to match the bridesmaids. If you want to do blue instead of grey you could look for a patterned tie that incorporates the blue and green so that they can still match the bridesmaids. Silver was one of our accent colors that we used for our caketopper, a glittery tablecloth for our sweetheart table since I wanted a different tablecloth than the guests, my jewelry, and the bridesmaids shoes. I would recommend making the gold your accent color. While I wouldn't tell the girls specifically what shoes or jewelry to wear you can ask that it be gold. I asked my girls to wear silver shoes. The style didn't matter and I recommended, but didn't require that the jewelry they wear also be silver to match their shoes.
