Color help! Ivory bride

You won't look dirty. I fell for that at a bridal shop too, and ended up picking a dress i didn't love because my #1 choice was a champagne color. I wouldn't worry at all about what suits or dresses your parents pick. Any colors will look good with your wedding party palate. The parents should wear what they're comfortable in. You can absolutely mix in Navy with black - most of the time for a more formal combo navy suits are worn with black shoes and belts. It would like nice and classy if someone wore Navy.

Interesting that you should mention that because my dress is ivory, and my bridegroom is wearing a black suit and white shirt. Our is a much more small and casual event (we're married 38 years and are having a Catholic convalidation ceremony), but that idea didn't occur to me at all. I say, wear what makes you look great, what you love. And the same for the parents.

Your dress will not look dirty. I would not stress at all over the parent’s clothing. I personally don’t like navy and black together, but almost any other color would match black and white and ivory. It will be beautiful!
