Hey! Are there any stressed out college students?

The wedding planning, homework, and work have me going crazy some days but it will all be so worth it.

What are you all going to school for and how is it impacting wedding planning?

I work full time at a hospital because nursing was my original major so I was exploring that but now I am becoming a special education teacher while continuing to work in the medical field for now. Smiley tongue

I’m about to graduate with a medical laboratory science degree. My wedding actually falls on my graduation date lol. I’m super stressed. I work part time at the hospital, am a full time student and trying to study for my national exam which will be right before the wedding. And to make things worse, we are moving cross country once we get back from our honeymoon

Omg I logged on thinking just about this.

I JUST FINISHED MY BACHELOR'S PROGRAM TODAY!!!!!

I majored in IT and I'm waiting until next week to get my final grade in my last class.

Now that that's out the way, I can focus solely on the details of wedding planning when I'm off work 😁😁😁

Oh nice! I love it so far. I have been working behind a desk for the last 8 years and I hate it! Would love to do something with tourism as I have a bachelors degree in public history as well. Good Luck to you!!

So stressed! I had 21 credits and was working 32 hours average, I'm so exhausted! I'm trying to just work on school when in school and wedding planning when I'm on break, but I get so bored with school sometimes, it doesn't always work out.

I am in my last semester at school! I’m going to become an elementary teacher. Between working full time, going to school full time, wedding planning, and future job searching, it’s so hard! My wedding is in June, two weeks after my graduation too. Hang in there! I keep telling myself that I can’t stretch myself too thin or else nothing will happen because I’ll be so worn out. 💙💕😊

My fiancée and I waited until we both finished college to start wedding planning. We didn’t want to put the extra stress on ourselves and we arnt in a rush. I definitely admire everyone who is taking on wedding planning and college! Y’all have more tenacity than I do.

I’m extremely thankful to have everything for the wedding under one roof. The amount of stuff we have to do isn’t very small. Which is great for me since I’m in one state, FH is in another state working, and our wedding is in another. I’m trying to finish my Ph.D. in chemistry in the coming year. So a lot to do on my end.

Keep your head up. In the end, you will marry the love of your life. You will hopefully get the degree resulting in your dream job. Don’t forget to ask for help when need help! Family, friends, bridal party are all willing to help out when you need it.

I’m a full time pre med student! Also, will be switching over to full time work wise. We found that deciding to have a longer engagement (2 years) will be less stressful for us!

I'm taking Organic Chemistry 2 and the lab (my last class) and graduating this semester. Its the most stressful class ever and i'm really hoping I make it through. I'm interviewing for teaching jobs currently and already have a trip to Hawaii planned this summer with FH and his family, so I NEEED to graduate. I have been ok with the planning since I got so much done early this year and last year, but recently I've wanted to plan and do things and I really should be taking a break right now.

I'm loving all the ed majors in this thread! I'm theatre ed and all of this is killing me, lol. I'm in 17 hours right now, logging clinical hours, working, and there's no time to do any of the more serious wedding stuff because I don't have a day off pretty much ever. It's spring break right now, so we went and toured three venues this week. Hopefully we can get around to booking the important vendors in the two weeks before my summer courses start.

I'm currently in my last semester before I graduate May 10th with my BSW. Our wedding is August 8 2021. I'm half planning. We have our venue. I have my BP and dress. Getting free samples. FH doesn't want to get into it until we are a year out. We are paying for our wedding also. I'm 33 and he's 57 and it's his second marriage. His wife passed 8 years ago 😪.
