Me and my fiancé are currently in college, and we decided that we wanted to soend the rest of our lifes together, basically grow up together and reach our goals. Only thing is i am still struggling to.find my calling in life and he is already set, on top of that money is tight, is there any tips on how to make our wedding (06/26/20) happen, with a guestlist of 70 people on a budget but still beautiful and wonderful.

I am in college as well while my fiancé is not but since we are not at the point in our lives where we can afford a big wedding, we decided on looking at city hall venues because depending on the state you look most can be very elegant looking and are usually under 2,000$. I’d look at venues with packages or think about DIYing some stuff. Definitely seek out help from family and friends whether it be borrowing stuff, ideas, or help planning. Best bet is to first sit down with your partner and go over what the budget is, what you both agree are must haves and what you can sacrifice. Communication over the wedding with your partner is key especially when money is tight. Make sure to set timelines of when each step you guys have you want done (taking photos, booking venue, etc). I found it helped when I was studying or planning for classes since I schedule every aspect of my studies I made sure to try and do that with wedding planning. If you take it one step at a time, you can space out what needs to be done and what needs to be paid for first. I would recommend booking a location or venue first as dates go fast for ****. Then after that take it step by step of what needs to be brought by when and how much money you need by then. Good luck on both your studies and wedding! Congratulations!
