I've been to a couple of them, I think one thing you may want to do is have some food stationary and some passed, to alleviate congestion around the buffet, another think to think about! will your bar be based on a per person price, or consumption basis? consumption is dangerous if you go that route because some venues have been known to inflate their charges, this is if you have an open bar, if you're doing cash it won't matter!! another thing, are you wearing your wedding dress for the reception? My friend regretted wearing hers, it was hard because you're on your feet most of the time, and it was difficult trying to navigate through the crowd, so changing into another dress after the ceremony may be helpful!! I'm getting married in Feb. 2021 and my venue is compact, so I'm changing out of my wedding 👗 myself!! Good luck, and congratulations!!

Hey! I want to do the same thing. The only thing I decided was to still have a seating chart so people have a place to keep their things. Also so no one takes any seats once they get up!
