Why don't you just call it a non-alcoholic margarita?

Why is calling it a virgin margarita disrespectful? That is how they are ordered in restaurants.

I very quickly read through the responces, but here is a thought, if you want to have one why not have it in the churches rec hall where you are getting married, for and hour or so and then while they are doing that you can get your pictures taken and stuff moved to the reception hall. And have the real reception following that.

If we can fit it into our budget (I'm hoping we can) we'll be having a donut stand come out for an hour or so to make donuts for our guests while they wait (our ceremony & reception is in the same building) & we will have non-alcoholic refreshments at that point.. so you could do something fun like that, we'll likely refer to this as "donut hour" on the program for fun Smiley smile
& I would do this at the place of your reception... not the church.. you don't want your guests lingering at the church and chance that you'll get to the reception before THEY do. If you have ready made trays, you could have the snacks passed around by someone you trust so things aren't being "layed out" while they wait..

Call it a social hour. Have different types of drinks available such as different flavored teas or lemondades. Along with your cheese/ crackers & fruits that would be great!

I'm having a cocktail hour with 3 hors d'oeuvres and an open bar. I had HIGH hopes that it would take place in a different room from the reception but the place we choose doesn't offer that option. Well I could but I would have to book another room and I'm just not locing the idea of paying for another room. We will have a photobooth and candy buffet so our guest should be ok for an hour.

If you are taking your pictures immediately following your ceremony you could ask that all of your guests stay for a few mins for a big group picture in front of the church , and then have someone run your decorations to the reception site.. they just won't be in the group picture. But it might give you just enough time so that you don't have to do the cocktail hour since you weren't planning to anyway.
