Cocktail hour Help!!!

I would just do an hour at most. Some people open up things like photo booth if they have one during that time

Cocktail hour is typically just that, an hour. I wouldn’t go any longer than that. We didn’t have any activities during cocktail hour, just apps, drinks, and music. Guests typically visit and mingle.

Our DJ played music, but it was mostly an hour to mingle, eat apps (our dinner wouldn't be for a bit), take pictures, drink, and chat.

It's generally not expected that there be a lot of entertainment.

We had an hour and most people just mingled. We took most of our pictures ahead of time so we could enjoy the half of the cocktail hour with our guests.

All the cocktail hours I've ever been to, including our own, were an hour and you don't need to do anything to entertain your guests besides offer food, drinks, and music.

Ours will be for one hour. Drinks and passed hors d’oeuvres will be served, and DJ will play music. Usually people just mingle, but if it’s outdoors you could also rent lawn games.

Ours was one hour (I have never attended a wedding before where the cocktail hour was longer than an hour). Our cocktail hour was held in a different part of our venue while the staff flipped over the ballroom area for the reception. We had passed hors d’oeuvres, an open bar, and a couple of the musicians from our band played live music. We didn't have any activities.

Like others said, typically 1-hour. Drinks & appetizers. Live music or background music.

We will have a magic mirror photo booth! We get copies of all the pictures and they also get copies as their favors.

Most likely will have our photo booth during this time and for it to last a while during the reception for guest to take pictures. Thank you
