Cincinnati Area small wedding venues?

Light Haired Girl, on August 21, 2017 at 11:11 AM Posted in Planning 0 3

I have been planning a largish wedding in May for the past few months, and I am realizing as time passes that I don't want to deal with the stress or spend all that money. We have been considering cutting our guest list to our 20 closest friends and family members, having the wedding the winter, and spending a tonnnn less, (like not including the dress, attire, decor, or anything like that, just food and venue) around $1500-$2000. I really loved the Wiedemann Hill Mansion, but their price alone was $2500 for the venue. Any brides in the Cincinnati area have any ideas? NKY works as well of course Smiley smile

Google restaurants in your area. This is how we built our list of over 60 small venues.

Look at your county park websites, museums, galleries.

    In other words, it's legwork.

We got married at the Leapin' Lizard Lounge in NKY! We had just under 150, but there are two floors, so you could possibly just use one floor. The owner is one of the most fabulous people in the world. Hope that helps!

We are getting married at Grace Episcopal Church and there rates are very reasonable. I am the bridal contact for them. The rates start at 650.00. Very beautiful church built in the 1800's with a lot of stained glass. I can send you pictures. They don't have a limit of people you can have and the church seats up to 200. I would love to schedule you a walk through if you would like.
