Cigar Bar? Help me if you've done one or seen one!

When we were planning our cigar bar, H and I went through our guest list and marked every guest we thought might smoke I cigar, then we added a couple extra just in case. Then when H went to the smoke shop he wanted to get the cigars from they had a deal on the ones he wanted. If he bought them in bundles of 25 he saved money. We guessed we needed about 35-40 cigars so H bought 50. I think we had about 10-15 left over after the wedding. We figured we would rather have too many than not enough because the extras certainly wouldn't go to waste.

I have never seen that before but that is an awesome idea! It depends on how many men/ women and how many you think would actually smoke. If you enjoy cigars, you can always buy more than expected then keep the remaining ones for you!

Thank you, super helpful! Our problem is I really have no idea who will and who won't? I for sure don't look like the kind to smoke anything but I really love cigars! I know we will need at least 30 cigars, I just don't know if we should plan for half or 75% or 100% of our guests. Did you buy cheaper ones, and a lot of options? Or all the same?

True! That's a good point!

I would either go through your list and total up how many people you think will smoke them and then add some extras or just get one for every guy who is of age. You can always take extras home.

I have friends who don't look like they smoke but I know that they do so included them in our count. You know the people on your guest list (I'm assuming) so if you go through you can probably make a relatively accurate guess of who would partake. I know we had at least a couple people partake that we didn't expect (H was so excited to show his cousin how to cut, light and smoke a cigar) but since we added extras and then bought even more we had plenty to go around.

We bought all the same kind. H didn't want it to get too expensive by picking out different ones so he just bout the shops signature hand rolled cigars. They seemed to be well enjoyed at the wedding and I know H and my dad enjoyed the after the wedding.

A bunch of plastic cutters and a bunch of lighters. I think H had his fancy lighter on him but we had just a bunch of cheap BIC lighters out for everyone else.
