Tara, on April 26, 2012 at 10:51 AM Posted in Planning 0 9

Has anyone ever seen a church that does not have a middle isle? The one I am getting married at has two isles..like 2 side isles.

We aren't getting married at a church, but at a hotel outside and they have two aisles that wrap around a huge flower bed. I'm having difficulty picking which side to walk down, and for decorating the aisle = more money because now you have to decorate two aisles. Didn't think of that at the time of booking. Smiley sad

    Mine does.

the bridal party is walking up the one on the left

my fam far left. his fam middle as his side is bigger

    friends far right.

after we are pronounced husband and wife we will all walk up the aisle on the right.

Lucky for me it is a tiny church so I still only have to decorate like 16 pews if I so choose

Our church has five aisles. There is a center asile which is the one going to be used by the bridal party. The guests will enter from the two asiles flanking the middle asile. The outside sections will be blocked off so everyone wil sit in the same section. We're only decorating every other pew and condensing everyone in the first 8-10 rows so the church doesnt look empty.

It may sound like a crazy idea but why not use the 2 aisles to your advantage to make the precession someting a lot of people have not seen before. you have whomever is walking you do the aisle on one side and have you fh and whoever he wants (his mom maybe) walk in on the other side at the same time. I think it could have this cool coming together effect as opposed to having him stand up there and wait. But that's just my idea.

The garden we got married in had 2 aisles that went around a little pond.

basically we had the girls use one side, the boys use the other... then we just chose one side for us to walk back up.

They church we are getting married in has 2 aisles. Bridal party and myself with my dad are coming in on the left one. Wedding party, with me and FH are leaving from the right one. This way everyone gets to see it.

My friend told me a cool idea ..We(my dad and i, and bridal party) will be all coming up one aisle(thanks for correcting me lol ) and then we are leaving out the other! It's a cool idea. But i like your ladies' ideas. Dad and I can walk up to fh one aisle and the bridal party up the other ...Kinda cool when you think about the opprotunities! Thanks a lot everyone!
