I agree exactly with what Chrysta said. Make sure you check with your venue that you are allowed to have open flames

I think that is a really awesome theme idea!! I agree with Amy - first make sure that candles are permitted, otherwise, go for it! You could also decorate trees to add to your theme, and/or use tinsel garland instead of greenery to decorate ceilings/tabletops/etc.

This sounds beautiful! You can use greenery, white & red flowers to weave in and out of the candles like this. I think it's so beautiful and romantic. Now I almost wish we postponed to Christmas time!

Christmas is a gorgeous theme! A candlelight service would be beautiful. Maybe check online to see if you can get LED candles to prevent fire hazards.


Some venues will already be decorated with trees. Use clear Christmas lights on everything. Play Christmas music while guests are seated and as they leave (in addition to cocktail hour and dinner). Have a hot cocoa/cider bar. Serve a Christmasy dessert or dinner. Use vases of ornaments or cranberries evergreens for centepieces.
Pinterest and Instagram have a ton of inspiration ideas.

That is awesome! Whatever wedding ideas you come up with, ask yourself if it brings you joy or not. I threw out a lot of the traditional stuff I didn't like and we did everything we thought would be fun or unique to us and it was the BEST day!

Christmas is such a happy, cozy time. I think that'll just add to the heart fuzzies of the wedding!

We want a string duo playing Christmas classics and regular pop tunes; Christmas cocktails; gingerbread, hot coco, apple cider, caramel apples, pies; presents left under the tree and ornaments as favors. I have so many ideas on my Pinterest board. I’m going to have to cut back when I actually start solidifying decisions.

I strongly considered a Christmas wedding because I love that time of year so much and every thing is so festive. I think a candlelight ceremony would be beautiful, if you are allowed to have it. As a plus, a lot of venues will already be decorated so you may not need to add much.
