Christmas trees for a winter wedding

If your venue is one where you'll have to do all your own decorating, I'd guess you'll find the best prices on trees either during Black Friday sales or immediately after Christmas this year, if you're going to buy them. However, that's going to mean you'll have to store them for a year and I don't know how practical that is. Depending on how early in December you'll be getting married, I'd maybe ask close friends/family if they own prelit trees that you could borrow for the wedding next year, if it's early enough that they won't have already used to them to decorate their homes. We own at least two prelit trees and daughter has a couple, so if we knew someone getting married at the very beginning of December, we'd probably be willing to loan them our trees to use, and just plan to do our home decorating after their wedding.

Other than buying or borrowing from friends, I'd start calling companies that do holiday decorating to ask about renting, but since your wedding is in the middle of their busy season, I'd expect them to be expensive to rent.

If you're willing to buy and have a bunch of Christmas trees afterwards I would say hit up places like Big Lots and Target right after Christmas for clearance sales. We stocked up on lights that way last year.

Walmart is a good place to look if you're okay with faux trees!

After christmas sales, for the win. Target and similar stores will do clearance sometimes before the holiday. I saw Halloween decor at 30% off today and it's October 30.
