-Sand unity ceremony, pouring two different colors of sand into one vase. This makes a very nifty keepsake for afterwards as well.

-Cord of Three Strands- the representation of unity between husband. wife, and Jesus Christ. Some people fear this is "muchy", but I've seen this in person and it's a very touching ritual.

Hope these were of some help.

Are you getting married in a church? Ask the officiant who will marry you what types of options you have. The officiant will know all of the Christian marriage-themed hymns, sermons, readings, and even some vow options for you. As for the candle, I don't know if that's "Christian" or not. But another option for that would be sand, or I've seen an exchange of roses between husband and wife too in place of the candle. Also, there's handfasting as an option.

A friend of mine did communion, before the "kiss" and said the first thing they wanted to do as a married couple was honor God by taking communion
