Chosen or Your Own Caterer

We are using our venue. Outside food isn’t aloud aside from the cake.

Our catering was included in our package. We have been to the venue before so it was an easy decision.

We had to use our venues restaurant for the food as they are an all in one venue.

The venue I used are owned by caterers. But let me tell you, my food was awesome! And plentiful! To even let me take the leftovers home! And I had five entrees. Could not have been better oh, still getting compliments three months later!

Our venue comes with a catering service so we had to use them. It turned out not being bad because the food is fairly cheap and extremely tasty!

We will be choosing our own! Probably doing a buffet-style setup. We're also thinking about just buying the food in bulk and doing it ourselves!

Niceeeeee!!!!! I look forward to this kind of experience. It is exactly why I asked this question. My top choice for venue seems to have a partnership with certain vendors. The menus all sound super delicious but my fiancé and I don't eat red meat and pork. One thing I noticed about the entree's were they all had something in them that either we didn't like, or we don't eat. So my main concern is if we can do any modifications to orders or hire our own caterer. We meet with them next week and I am super excited for the tour mainly but I am ready for any let downs if any. Im glad you had an awesome experience and wish you well with your marriage

Talk about saving money!! I also considered this but I kind of want everyone to enjoy the day and not worry of any hassles of traveling with food. Whatever you guys decide I hope you love t and have the time of your lives!!!!!

Our venue included passed apps, 3 course plated dinner, cake and a late night snack. Totally perfect for us, saves a lot of time and just simplified everything

The package we chose at our venue comes with catering so we have to use theirs. We could have chosen a different package without it or build our own package but the expenses were getting ridiculous so we just went with a package that was almost all inclusive. We got an officiant on our own and also an outside photographer/videographer.

We are doing a DW so we have to use the hotels caterer but it's ok I have been to this hotel in JA and their food is good.

We are getting married at a local dinner theater and they do all of their own catering and food in house. I thought that was a win win, one less thing to have to worry about and one less vendor to have to plan with lol

Our reception hall runs their own catering company so we had to use them. My fiance and I have both been there for other events and loved the food so we haven't had an issue with using them as our caterer. We are able to bring our own cake and cupcakes from an outside baker though!

We are using the caterer from our venue. If your venue does not provide catering make sure that you do your research as to what you are looking and it doesn't hurt to ask your venue about catering.

Initially I was between two venues. So I did narrow it down to one caterer for venue A but ultimately we went with venue B that was a restaurant with their own food.

wanting that Caribbean feel to our summer wedding is what our hearts desire. We are also okay if what the venue offers is really good when we meet. The other thing was the entree items we did see from the venue package was that there are some things we both don’t eat or like on all the items so as long as modifications can be made we’ll be cool.

We wanted to do a food truck caterer, so we had to go outside the venue... which narrowed our options considerable.
