Chocolate Fountain Etiquette Sign

I like it. How big will the sign be? I made a sign for one of our parties with directions on how to use something and people said they didn't notice it.

It was on an 8x11 sheet of paper. The directions were printed landscape on 70 something font.

I don't think anyone would be offended. I mean, hello, it is common sense after all. However, if it were, you wouldn't need to make the sign right? lol I think it is fine and I would totally be okay with the wording if I were a guest.

Thanks Mandee, I showed it to one of my co-workers and she laughed. But if only she were a part of WW, and heard some of the things that went on @ weddings and receptions she would understand. Or maybe if it were her own wedding, she would probably understand.

Kimberly, I just got the funniest mental images of chocolate fountain mishaps like kids sticking their faces in them and you getting in a chocolate fountain foodfight. lol.

No, they shouldn't be offended. Unless they were planning to drink from the fountain or stick their fingers in it.

I think it's a great idea, I would make sure to hang it somewhere where people have to read it though. Rules sound good.

Hey question - is the chocolate really hot? I would think it has to stay hot to keep the right liquid consistency, yeah? So based on safety issues alone with the kids, I think your sign is a really good idea. You don't want any little burned fingers.

Not sure of the temp but it has to stay pretty warm to keep it flowing.

It doesnt get that hot. You could technically stick your finger in it without burning it. I wont go into details but lets just say I had an incident with one a few years ago :-)

Ok, so a friend of mine has one. One party I had a little too much to drink (and im clumsy when im dead sober) i tripped and knocked into the fountain. It was an extremely comical scene with me trying to right the fountain and ended up with me picking it up and touching the heating element (now that hurts). As a result, I burned my hands, dropped it and was covered in chocolate from the waist down. The good news is that the chocolate didnt hurt all, just my hands from the heating element
