Chinese Banquet Venue

Emily, on February 24, 2019 at 6:39 PM Posted in California Planning 0 7
Hello!
I’m looking for a Chinese banquet reception venue in LA or OC area. We are hoping to host about 150 guests. Any good recommendations?! Much thanks! 🤗

Check out cities like Monterrey Park or Cerritos with high Chinese populations. One recommendation is Royal Garden Restaurant in Cerritos for a banquet room. I've been to a reception there and they served us an 11-course family-style meal.

I just went to my cousins wedding at the villa in Westminster. It’s very nice but seems expensive

Hi Emily! I just looked at Capital Seafood Arcadia and it looks like a great venue. They have a private room for 60, but if there's more you have to rent out the entire front banquet area and pay a minimum of $9k. My main problem was figuring out where the ceremony would be that was close enough... I'd love to hear more ideas on where a ceremony could be if deciding to go with a chinese banquet for the reception!

I'm having my chinese banquet reception at the Monterey Palace Restaurant in SGV. My family's been going there for years and they're clean, reliable, and flexible so I highly recommend. They can seat up to 32 tables, but my understanding is that if your table count is less than 30 or so, they will only section off your area rather than close down the restaurant for the event.
