Chiffon in Fall?

Hi, I was just wondering if it is appropriate to have my bridesmaids wear Chiffon dresses in late October? I found a few dresses that I love, in cream/gray or cream/olive green, but they're all Chiffon fabric. I was told Chiffon may not be appropriate for Fall, only Spring/Summer. Thank you!

It depends on where you live. I know around here late October would be pretty cold for Chiffon. If you live in a warmer area, and the girls aren't going to have to be outside too much(like for pictures or an outdoor ceremony) than I don't see why it would be inappropriate.

We're in chiffon and we're NC. My wedding is outdoor and in Oct, my girls are ok with it...they've all tried them on and i asked if they would be cold and they've all assured me that it was comfy and they liked it

My bridesmaids are wearing chiffon although my wedding is in early September. If you don't live in an area that is warm all year round, as long as your ceremony and reception are going to be inside, I say it would be okay.

I'm in FL and chiffon works almost year round. I think it depends on where you live and if your wedding will be in or outdoors.

I wore a chiffon dress in Jersey in November and it was fine! We were happy to have the chiffon wraps when we did portraits at the beach, though!

What they said!

Also remember they'll kick up with the wind a bit more than other fabrics so think about the weather for sure.
