After watching Cheapest Weddings on Netflix I'm feeling so much better about my own wedding. So many notes of what not to do. What are you all doing to keep costs down?
After watching Cheapest Weddings on Netflix I'm feeling so much better about my own wedding. So many notes of what not to do.
Just downloaded the show so I can watch it on my flight! We decided to have an intimate ceremony with a celebration of marriage later. The ceremony is at a restaurant in their garden area so we save in decorations. There's no fee for renting the space, just a minimum we'll have to meet for food and drinks which will be no problem for us to meet. With the intimate ceremony and celebration of marriage we're going to end up spending 1/2 of what we were planning with our original wedding.
Hahahaha still watching..... I just asked FH "how come all the broke people are weird" his response "because all they have is their imagination".......
I just got one episode down. Is it required to drink while watching it because I felt so awkward and embarrassed for them that I was compelled to pour myself a glass of wine.
I can feel for the Argentineans bride because the visa for my husband has been wicked expensive but...just no. There are other ways. Also, I love when these couples are saying they are getting stuff for free. It's like "Oh you mispronounced, 'pushing the cost onto your guests.'"
I did diy invites which turned out very well and got the kits from gartnerstudios. Only 20 bucks on that. We are having a family member do video and everything else has pretty been cost effective due to grace lol.
I'm watching it now. It's totally stressing me out that a freak storm is going to blow through and ruin our outdoor wedding. Yes, we have a tent just in case but the venue is picked because of the stunning views.
We decided to elope so that we can have some money for the honeymoon. Later take our family to a nice dinner as a thank you for supporting us on our journey. This show is a kicker. Thank you.
FH saved this show for me to watch! We have a fairly small budget so he thought it would be helpful, I haven't been able to watch it yet, I've been on a Desperate Housewives binge
Darn it! FH did not need to see the groom in the tux with the armour. Now he's all "look how awesome that looks!" He was *this* close to giving up that idea. Despite some of the nope in the episodes I saw, some of these weddings are sweet!
