Cheapest good quality wedding invitations

Heather, on June 19, 2017 at 11:28 AM Posted in Planning 0 19

I was looking to take advantage of Wedding paper divas Groupon to receive half off but after looking at the horrific reviews, I am terrified to use them.

Does anyone have experience with them? What are some other sites that offer great invites but at a lower cost? Doesn't need to be super cheap, I am looking for something with good quality but doesn't cost an arm and leg

Thanks!

I designed my own and had them printed at Costco. They do have pre-printed ones that you can customize. Mine were ready in a week. I had a question for customer service before I printed the RSVP cards and they were great! Cost is extremely reasonable.

There are lots of great stationers right here on WW who can help build a suite that fits your style and budget. I recommend searching the vendor tab to find someone near you.

I didn't know WPD had bad reviews. We used them for our invites and they are flipping gorgeous!

I don't know what you consider low budget, but we just ordered ours via Vistaprint. We got about $30 off ($10 vista cash from our STDs and a 20% off coupon [ENJOY20]) and spent $74 for 70 invitations, 70 RSVP cards, and envelopes for all of those. Shipping was $8.

Vistaprint. We got invitations, RSVPs, direction cards, matching envelopes, and stickers for the back of the envelopes. We got all of this for $80, after my 20% discount, but if I had waited for the 50% off I would have spent about $58ish.

I know some people have said that they don't like Vistaprint, but I've had great luck with them for stationary for a friend's bridal shower. Make sure you wait until they have a sale (every few weeks). If you have a Chase credit card you can usually "Shop through Chase" and get an extra 4% back, too!

I love Zazzle. They have so many options and you can usually customize any design. I've seen discounts which start at 15% off all the way up to 75% off. On top of being reasonable cost wise, I found the quality of their invitations to be really good.

I had zero problems using WPDs. Both STDs and invites turned out great, and I did everything cheap.

I used minted for my ceremony invites, but they were definitely not inexpensive.

I used zazzle for my rehearsal dinner invites and was really happy with them. Sure, they weren't foil pressed or anything but I really like their designs, flexibility when designing, and pricing.

I used Wedding Paper Divas. I ended up paying $90 for 200 invites and gold envelopes.

I used a Gilt City deal that was supposed to cover only 100 invites, but WPD did not send me a digital proof before sending the order to print. They're supposed to send you a digital proof so you can make sure you don't have any errors and check the cropping and all that. Since I designed my invites completely from scratch this was really important to me because I was afraid they would apply the bleed marks wrong or something.

After getting a shipping notice I contacted customer service asking where my proof was and that I did not authorize the order to be sent to printing yet. They said I had checked off the box that said "I don't want a digital proof." I pretended to go through the ordering process again and no box like that exists...... IDK what this lie was about. But they sent me a proof and a second set of invitations. Both sets ended up printing just fine so I ended up with 200 invites at the price of 100. There's some parts of the invite where the print quality is a little weird but I'm super picky and FH had no idea what I was talking about.

Order sample invites for free from all the major printers and make your decision based on that. A lot of people recommend Vistaprint, but I wasn't too happy with the sample quality.

I loved vistaprint! I waited until they had a half off sale and I got 100 invitations, rsvp cards, and envelops for both for just under $70.00, including shipping!

I used anns bridal bargains. No issues, beautiful simple invites and less than $75 for 100 invites.
