Cheap Casual Wedding Venue Ideas?

We are not trying to do anything fancy. We have like 40-50 guests. I just need somewhere that would let us bring in our own stuff to set up and let us drink and be loud. The Ceremony and reception are at the same place. I tired looking at airbnb and we have no event friendly places in Springfield, Mo. We don't have any family that has large property, and we live in a trailer park so I would like to avoid being married at home. Like $1200 at most.

Hi Elizabeth! I'd try reaching out to local event halls, community centers, and public parks!
Relics Event Center, Sertoma Event Center, and The Coleman Vault look like they might fight your criteria, and The Gallery at National Avenue could be perfect ($500-$700 for 5 hours).

The Coleman Vault, definitely!! A little outta budget but Common Bond venue in Chadwick, MO

The Ritz Starlight is like 1200 too!! It’s in Marshfield. I’m on a budget too. If you need help finding vendors, fee free to reach out

Definitely consider VFW halls! My mom had her reception at either a VFW or an American Legion and her friends cooked all the food and brought it. They had a DJ, dance floor, and it was definitely loud. This was like 20 years ago, but that's the beautiful thing about those halls -- they pretty much stay the same!

If your in Springfield some of these might be a bit of a drive, but The Loft at Keith Farms(might be out of price rang but worth looking into), The round Barn on clear creek is $1,200 for a week day, The Civil War Ranch is local to me but they are the absolute cheapest place to get married around here, All You Need is Love, LLC is also local to me and they charge $10 per guest so if your looking at 50 guests it will be $500. Good luck!
