Change of heart wedding insurance

As you said, you will not find this type of insurance less than a year from your planned wedding day. If your parents insist on this type of insurance you would either need to move your wedding date or maybe sign a promissary note stating you will reimburse them for any costs should you/groom get cold feet and call off the wedding.

Wedding insurance policies almost never cover change of heart/voluntary cancellation, it has nothing to do with the timeframe in which you buy the insurance.

Eventsured does and it specifies this timeframe and Wedsure mentions covering change of heart on their website, but does not specify their policy on the timeframe. I’m not looking into liability insurances or cancellation and postponement and expecting those policies to include change of heart, but there are insurances that do specify that coverage.
