Ceremony Programs: Necessary or Extra?

I think it depends on the wedding. If it's a big wedding or has different locations for ceremony and reception it's useful.
I'm having a small wedding in the same place so it's not needed for me.
Same with menus, We got two make your buffet stations.

I don't think we will do programs, maybe a board that has the main details.

My husband and I made timeline wristbands. We got the idea from Pinterest. They looked similar to the picture.

I did it. But I'm not sure if I would have still done them had I had an indoor ceremony aha. My ceremony was outdoors in southern California in June so it was quite sunny and programs was kind of a nice way to offer some fanning and shade aha

Extra. I actually don’t like them as a guest. I don’t look at them and it’s something else I feel I have to keep up with. It typically gets trashed or left in my chair right after the ceremony. I’d rather spend my money on something important and that me, my fiancée, & my guest will remember.

I'm having a church wedding so will do an order of service for the ceremony.
Bit wasn't planning to do Anything after that.
Maybe on the invites have a timeline type thing.

My theme is Phantom of the Opera so i really only did the program so I can take advantage of doing a Broadway-themed one. So excited to use them!

We're skipping programs! We're having a fairly traditional ceremony so it should be okay!

As my guests came in the venue staff gave them out. Like getting a wristband when you come into a club, lol. That's how many of my guests described it, they said it made them so excited because they had never seen that before.
