Ceremony only venue

Patricia, on December 16, 2018 at 11:45 PM Posted in Wedding Ceremony 0 7
Hey all! My fiance and I are interested in a venue that will be able to do the ceremony and reception but it's all in the same room. I'm curious about venues you know of that are known for a "ceremony only" or can do it. We don't want to get married in a church. I love historical older buildings but I dont think I will get that lucky. But mainly wanting ideas for a ceremony only venue . We will be getting married Oct 2020 and the venue we is the profile event center which is by the U. Thanks!

Are you planning on flipping the room for the reception? Or only having your cermony there?

We want a ceremony only option, bc at the profile event center, I dont like the looks of having the ceremony in the same room as the reception so if we could find a place to have the ceremony beforehand, that would be nice

So are you wanting the ceremony and reception at different venues? Have you found your reception venue already and you’re just looking for advice on finding a ceremony only venue? Sorry your wording was a bit confusing

Ours is in a country club. So we will have the wedding outside in front of fire place if it rains. Then the reception is in a different area in the room.

I’m not familiar with your area, but have you thought about parks, gardens, museums, local colleges/universities, etc? They often have pretty spaces for a minimal fee!
