Ceremony clean up?

Ceremony clean up? 1
We are looking at this venue for an outdoor wedding. I am wanting to have the ceremony on the lawn and cocktail hour/ reception dinner on the terrace. How would you handle clean up of the ceremony since the space is visible to all of the guests while they’re in cocktail hour?

As long as there is a crew to move the ceremony items out of the way, there really should not be a problem. Maybe just try to have the first task as getting the stuff away from the center of the view as quickly as possible. But even if it is slow, it will still be natural. Maybe even have colored lights flashing on to the arch (if you have one). This would distract their eyes toward that.

Another option would be to have a partition between the ceremony area and the reception. Then the takedown could be partly obscured when that is being done.

A lot of caterers will handle clean up if you pay for them to stay later. My caterer said they could help set up, move tables and chairs, serve cocktail hour, serve dinner, serve cake, provide non alcoholic drinks, box up leftovers, take care of all trash, and box up our decorations and belongings after the ceremony. Just be sure to ask. The only thing no one would do is literally put the topper on my cake, so I'm getting a friend to do that. Lol
