Ceremony and Reception at the same place

breeleighxoxo, on February 19, 2017 at 10:57 PM Posted in Etiquette and Advice 0 2

We are having our ceremony and reception at the same place and we are completely set on our formal invitations.. we ordered a sample and I fell in love but I can't figure out how to word this section with both of them being at the same place. Can someone help?

Some details that might help. Ceremony starts at 6pm (15-20 ish minutes), pictures right after, and dinner will be at 7:30.

Our ceremony and reception will be in the same space, and we'll just say "reception to follow" or "dinner and dancing to follow" or something along those lines.

If you just say something along the lines of "dinner, dancing, and cocktails to follow" or "Reception to follow" your guests will know the ceremony and reception are in the same place. Honestly, I've never been to a wedding with the ceremony and reception in different places. So I just assume whatever address they give me on their invite is the one I will be staying at for the night to celebrate their wedding.
