Centerpiece costs

Hey all! Just curious if any of you broke down your cost per table for centerpieces/ table decor? Just wondering ballpark what others have spent. I know this site has been glitchy lately, but if you could include pics too that would be great! Thanks!

    Probably about $30/table so far

    Volative cover: $3

    Flowers: $20

    submersible LED light: 0.95

    battery operated tea light: 0.5

    Vase: $3

I'm leaving a little wiggle room and rounding up

A florist quoted me $70 for the above and I am in the DC metro area.

Ugh. I've never broken it down before. $40 for the flowers (in vases), $30 for the Virginia Wine, $6 for the table banner holders that attach to the wine bottles (long story), $6 for the table name signs and about $3 for the votives. Yikes. $85

I haven't broken it down yet, but I would say around $10 a piece? I had a lot of the stuff we are using.

Here are pictures of our 2 centerpieces, all that's missing is the table number.

The votives will be white not the green that is shown.

I received my floral and rental décor estimate this morning and nearly fainted!!! The bottom line is waaaaay over budget so I have to make a lot of subtractions. Here is a look at what I put together with the company. We will have three different centerpieces to break things up in the space.

Our colors are blush, ivory and gold!

We are providing tall vases that we found at Tuesday Mornings for $12/piece and peacock feathers.

The florist is providing spray painted curly willow (nickel), fuchsia hydrangeas, and 3 calla lilies per arrangement.

The florist's cost is $90/arrangement. ($40 for hydrangeas, $10 for curly willow, $40 for calla lilies).

    Total cost is approximately $107/arrangement.

The picture is our starting point. The curly willow will be spray painted and we are adding peacock feathers and calla lilies.

This also does not include the votives we'll have around each arrangement. I think there will be 9/arrangement, but we already have most of the votives and vases from my sister's wedding.

Still making some additions/subtractions but here is where we are approximately:

Floral Centerpieces: Average of $225/table on centerpieces (half tables are larger centerpieces at $300/each and the other half are small at $150/each). We are renting the tall vases for an additional $5/each and purchasing the smaller vases for apps $15/each.

Votive holders and votives: appx. $40/table

    Tablecloth: $56/table

Stationary: Note cards/pencil, place card, table number; apps. $40/table

    Chargers: Appx $16/table

Grand Total per table (not sure I really wanted to add this up...): $377.00

The following is a mockup I threw together (not the actual linens), although I have already made lots of changes since taking the picture. The picture shows the small vase but with some fake flowers I just threw in for the photo. I've also attached a photo of our actual linens.

Our centerpieces are rolls/flat bread from the venue, herbs grown in terracotta pots....but we are also looking at some flowers that are $19.99 for a centerpiece.....I was going to do my flowers myself but as the price difference doesn't seem that huge to save me 2-3 hours of time the day before the wedding.

They were like 50 bucks. The flowers, "lantern" amd main pillar candle were rented from the florist. The moss table numbers I made and to be honest, they were so cheap to make I don't even remember what I paid. The mercury glass t-light holders I got a really great deal on from Pier One.

Interesting question. I haven't really thought through the exact cost of our centerpieces.

Tall vase with floral arrangement - provided

Round glass charger at base - provided

    Tea lights - provided

    1 cylinder vase - $1

    1 candle in vase - $1

ribbon around vase - a few cents ($1 rolls used on multiple tables)

A few strands of pearls from my mom's mardi gras bag - $0

Frame for table number - $2ish

Printed table number - a few cents

Total = $3 and some change per table.

We haven't made it that far in our planning yet, but I'd thought I'd share this.

Thanks A&J! We had a smaller wedding so there were only 8 tables, not including the top table. Our ceremony room was next door to the reception room so the centrepieces were first used to decorate the aisle then after the ceremony the florist moved everything into the reception.

    $25/ table was the budget.

I have 2 different centerpieces so some are $30/ table and others are $10. I did a mix of some with homemade hydrangea flowers in a simple vase, others are lanterns from IKEA that I painted to match my colours.
