Hi all! My wedding date for next year is quickly approaching and my fiancé and I want to celebrate! Does anyone have any ideas for a "pre-wedding" celebration for us? I feel like this is such a sweet part of the wedding planning process and allows us to just focus on what is most important during the long and stressful planning process. Thanks!

My fiancée and I are going on a 4 day weekend getaway in New Orleans (4.5 hr drive). Nothing too fancy or pricey (budgeting $1000) for entire thing including Airbnb ($600). So just something fun but nothing that gets in the way of work or would throw us out of our routines.

We had our engagement party at our one year out mark! lol! Our engagement party was a picnic with family and wedding party/best friends

I like Julia's idea of the weekend getaway! Ours is a small destination wedding, so we're going our a few days before our guests to celebrate just being us. An engagement party would be fun too!!
