Catching a red eye after the wedding... what to do for a few hours before?

Hi everybody! We are getting married August 31 and very excited! We booked a cruise through Norwegian Cruise line and catch a redeye flight at one in the morning, and our wedding ends at nine! I had a vision of us jumping in a limbo and heading straight to the airport, but now that the flight times got released to one in the morning I don’t know what we should do for a few hours! My husband feels bad we have so many friends and family coming out of State hi everybody! We are getting married August 31 and very excited! I had a vision of us jumping in a limbo and heading straight to the airport, but now that the flight times got released to one in the morning I don’t know what we should do for a few hours! My husband feels bad we have so many friends and family coming out out of state come And would like to spend some time with them, but neither of us are sure what the normal thing so to speak would be in the situation LOL! We need help! Thank you!

Hi Brenda! How far is the airport from your venue? You have to account for travel time and usually you're supposed to get to the airport 2 hours early, so that would be 11 PM. By the time you pack up, change, and head to the airport, I wouldn't think you would have too much time to spare! What about just grabbing a drink with everyone?

The airport is only 20 minutes away, so that may be a good idea! We were planning on heading to the venue with the wedding party in a limo and loading the limo up with our luggage and then having them pick us up and take us to the airport, but maybe we can see about them driving us around or something!

Is there a blocked hotel you are near that other guests are staying at? Or someone's house who doesn't mind hosting an after party?

I think you can still take the limo right to the airport! You can always grab a drink at an airport bar if you need to kill a little time, but like Allie said you may appreciate having that extra time to get checked in and drop your luggage and get through security
