My FH and I have begun creating our wedding registry and are wondering weather or not to add a cash fund registry (which we would use towards purchasing a home and appliances/furniture) and a honeymoon registry (we're taking a 1-year anniversary trip rather than a honeymoon right after the wedding).
However, I'm stuck on the fence about it because I've read many articles that you should add it, if you and your fiancee desire that more than the usual wedding registry with household items. But at the same time, I feel they are tacky and asking for it, even through a registry, sounds a little desperate and unclassy.
We haven't published the registries yet so we have time to decide. It's seems to be an up and coming trend but I have an inkling it's not one I should follow.
