Card box!?

So I didn't put much thought into needing a card box until my step mom brought it up recently. So I need some inspiration! Show me your DIY or bought card boxes Also, does it have to be locked? I've seen both, not sure which way I should go. Thanks ladies!

    Here is mine! The top opens and we didn't have a lock but it wasn't noticeable. I loved it! It fit very well with our vintage/industrial venue! I had the idea of what I wanted and my mom was able to make it! We did a lot of DIY projects!

    OP, you need a card box. If you didn't have one and I were a guest at your wedding, I guess I'd have to hand you the envelope...and I'd rather not do that.

    Card boxes are among the easiest DIYs featured on this forum. Typically, you need three boxes -- small, medium, and large. You stack them on top of each other and decorate them. Otherwise, you ask the venue about renting a "mailbox" or a "birdcage".

    You need something for your guests to place their cash/check envelopes in.

    @Shows2017- Yes I made it! There's another similar thread happening right now that has details. I bought the boxes on Amazon, fabric and rhinestone from Walmart. Ribbon and flowers from Michaels. It cost about $20.

    Hobby lobby with 50% off and yes a lock with some greens to cover the lock will be added
