Okay, December bride here and I CANNOT turn off the wedding planning! We’re still NINE months out and all I can ever talk about with my mom and MOH/bridesmaids is WEDDING. My poor fiancé too!

How can I turn off the wedding planning brain? Am I going to run out of wedding stuff to talk about eventually? I can’t imagine me doing this for the next 9 months....Help lol!

Definitely use these forums to discuss anything wedding! It's always so fun to talk about wedding plans, but I know sometimes those closest to us aren't always as excited to hear about wedding all the time. Everyone on these forums is happy to talk about anything wedding!

Thank you! I definitely need to remember these forums exist more often, haha! I also joined a Brides of ‘21 Facebook group so hopefully that helps.

I love WW for these forums! I keep wedding talk to a minimum because of these! Not everybody in our lives wants to hear about it all the time!

I love the different answers in the comments! You shouldn't turn it off!! It's exciting for you to be getting married and you're more than okay to be thrilled. I feel the same way sometimes, and I will turn to the WW forums to talk to strangers so my friends and fiancé don't go over the deep end LOL

Omg I've not been able to stop planning in my mind since the beginning of the year! I think I'm driving my FH nuts 🙈 The forums here help so much though!
I'm also in grad school rn and have two big papers/projects due at the end of the month so I made myself a list an hour ago of wedding related things I'm allowed to do next week and once they're taken care of I have to fully focus on other things until next weekend 😅

I have a similar problem but luckily I have reigned it back to just my mom, who is happy to listen so far, my pinterest account, and here on the forums. I promised my FH that I would only spend one day a week constantly asking him wedding questions like a mad person. He was ok with that as a compromise.
