The other day, FH's cousin sent a group facebook message out to him and about 50 other relatives saying, "Don't forget to check out our wedding registry in case you want to get us a gift for our wedding." We hadn't even received an invitation yet. We click on the registry link...and there is nothing on it! (see pic) When someone mentioned this in the group message, the bride responded, "That's because you can get us anything." Ok fine, but then why make a registry? Is it just me, or does that make zero sense? The following day, FH received the invitation. 1. The wedding is in March and we are getting an invitation in October (RSVP date in December) 2. It is handwritten! (see pic) and 3. My name isn't on it. FH and I have lived together for three years and are engaged, but I'm not invited to the wedding. (I've never met her, but we were still planning to invite them both to our wedding, since she's FH's first cousin). Is all of this tacky as hell or is it just me?
