Cannoli Station for Dessert @ Wedding

Stephanie, on June 19, 2016 at 4:47 PM Posted in Planning 0 10

Hi! I'm searching for a baker in VA who can host a cannoli station at our wedding in November in Charlottesville, VA. Here's our inspiration: http://gerardositalianbakery.com/cannoli-station/

This would be in lieu of a wedding cake, so we want it to be grand. If you are able to provide this feature or if you know of someone who can, I'd love to hear from you! It's been quite challenging to find someone who can make a traditional cannoli outside of NY.

Nova resident here, my FH is half Italian.

Simply put, Virginia isn't known for its Italian food. There's just not enough Italians or areas that were Italian-American.

Baltimore however is. Can you get someone from there who would be willing to travel or ship? Or do an online order from NYC?

Also, maybe talk to some Italian restaurants who might do desert catering.

MA bride here. We are getting Gerardo's cannoli station! We were going to him for a cake and when we saw the cannoli station we had to book it. He has the cheapest cakes I've seen. Our cake will be about $600 and the cannoli bar will be about $1200 for 300 cannolis. If the cannolis aren't finished they box up all the extras at the end of the night, so we're thinking of it as an edible favor as well.

My FH is from Baltimore and I've been to Vaccaros (Punkin Beer posted the link). Maybe they will be able to ship you the supplies and your caterer or your venue can provide someone to hand fill them?

Please change your avatar to something other than the rings (this is not the same pic as the background pic on the app). The rings are associated with spam/trolls, so changing it will help you get more responses to your posts. The suggestions to look in Baltimore's Little Italy are good ones!

Another vote for Vacarros if they're able to get your cannoli to Charlottesville!
