Cancun Destination Wedding Makeup

I would just make sure they don't use too heavy a foundation, It can be pretty humid there and you don't want anything to melt off your face.

I’ll be doing that at my DW in Hawaii. I don’t think hair will be a problem, but I am afraid with makeup so I’m doing it myself.

Previous marriage about 10 years ago, but I got married at an all inclusive resort in Riviera Maya and had my hair and make up done. The stylist gave me a book of pictures to chose from for my hair and it came out just like the picture and I was very happy with it. The make up, however, was very heavy. I realized when trying to explain what I was looking for their was a bit of a communication barrier; I speak very little Spanish and the artist’s English was limited. The makeup was well done. Just much heavier than I wanted or was used to. I ended up using a tissue to soften the look at little and figured it would be good for pictures, which it was. My SIL/MOH washed her face and started over, but her hair turned out great too. Maybe have some make up inspo with you? As a side note it was a great experience and everyone had a wonderful time. No regrets on the wedding itself. Photos turned out great as well.

I'm debating this as well because we're also getting married at an all inclusive resort. I've looked at pictures of other brides that also got married at the resort to get an idea and so far what I've seen is pretty. They should be able to do a trial run with you prior to your actual ceremony so you can see what it looks like.

My hair and makeup was done by the resort. I opted to not have a trial because .. well because!
