Canceling?

September 19, 2020 is my wedding date and my coordinator suggested we wait until end of June to make any decisions. We are contacting all of our vendors to see what their policies are about postponing though.

No plans to cancel. Things are looking so much for positive in my opinion. The thing that I think is helping is that states are starting to reopen so I'm thinking restrictions should be eased a lot by September. This can't last forever. The other to remember is that testing is being ramped up and more tests are occurring so the number is going to go up; I think it's more important to look at the percentage of cases per population because that number is actually going down!! So things are getting better.

September 5 here, no plans to cancel seems things should ease up by then but everyone's situation is different. I only have about 5 people traveling and they can do the drive if they don't feel comfortable flying (8 hour drive). Fingers crossed and good luck!

I agree with the PP. The general consensus for September weddings is that it's too soon to panic. However, in my opinion, it's never too early to think about a plan B--especially if that eases your mind. What would you and your partner want to do if you couldn't move forward as planned? What are the most important aspects of your wedding?
