I live in Rochester NY, we are a section of the state that is doing well and the cuomo plans to re open! We don't owe any money to our venue till two weeks before. We just made our down payment when we booked it and that's it! All of our vendors feel we will be fine and none have had any cancellations past June. So we are all very positive!
Sept 12, no plan of cancelling as of right now! I’m in WNY, hopefully will know more by June 1 and I’ll go from there. Definitely a little concerned, hoping the state will start to open back up and we can continue! We have roughly 90 people so it’s pretty intimate but staying positive we will be alright!!!

Wait to cancel there is lots of time. Mine is in November and I am waiting I still have 194 days! Honestly you will know in July/August if you need to cancel but wait till July.
September 19th at Turning Stone Resort and Casino in Verona NY....
Having panic attacks that I am not going to be able to get the things done I need to- as well as the panic of having to postpone the wedding. We live in VA & our first, blind, date was at Turning Stone. So trying to make it full circle... Looking at 150-250 people. Fingers crossed that we can keep our date.
Just booked our venue for September 4th but we are also only doing just a small wedding with our parents, his siblings and my best friend. There will be about 15-20 total and it will be an outdoor wedding. I do not know if I would be comfortable doing a large wedding right now which is why we decided to do small because we did not want to wait another year to get married.
I am doing a private wedding with 5 people. I would not attend a large wedding in September. And I'm very concerned about a second round of the virus. We moved our entire event until 2021 - if that's not possible we're skipping the 'big' event of 50-60. It feels better this way.
I agree with you. Our wedding consist of 150-170 and we moved our October 2020 wedding to May 2021. Were considering having a private ceremony with our new to be blended family October and IF this virus waves or vaccination is created we have the big wedding in 2021. Good Bless US all! Please continue to stay safe.
Hi our wedding was scheduled for October 24, 2020- However we decided to move to May 15, 2021. We are in Broward, Florida and part of the county of 3 that are not able to start re-opening. Good luck everyone. Please continue to stay safe!
We were scheduled for September 26th and moved it to September of 2021. It really was a tough choice since the 26th was a significant date for us, but with the potential for a second wave in the fall and the fact that our state is opening before we see a long-term decline in cases I just didn't feel comfortable asking people to congregate. For us, the point is celebrating with our loved ones. If a portion of our guest list couldn't (or decided not to) come out of concern or caution it just wouldn't be worth having the wedding. We didn't want to take that risk.
